These wireless headphones feature a maximum audio resolution in the signature Sennheiser sound with a 42 mm audiophile-inspired transducer system, aptX Adaptive, and Bluetooth. Sound personalization is possible through the Sennheiser Smart Control App with an integrated equalizer, presets, and sound modes. The headphones also come with adaptive noise cancellation. However, ambient sounds can still be perceived with the adjustable transparency mode. Overall, the Momentum 4 scores with brilliant sound and good technology. Compared to 200-euro headphones such as those from Valco or Audio-Technica, the Momentum 4 sound more detailed and powerful with a nevertheless controlled bass. In terms of ANC, it lags slightly behind the best-in-class Sony XM5, but sounds a bit more characterful, sits more comfortably and has a few additional functions.
