CacheVault flash cache protection modules and battery backup units protect the integrity of cached data by storing it in non-volatile flash cache memory or by supplying the controller with battery power.

CacheVault technology prevents data loss by keeping critical components of the card powered long enough to automatically transfer the cached data to NAND flash.
