Question about Sony MDR-HW700DS Wireless Surround Headphones
Can I use a soundbar and these headphones at the same time? That is, connected to the TV at the same time but only one audio source is running. For example, the soundbar during the day and the headphones in the evening when the flatmate is in bed? I don't quite understand the connections. I would certainly connect it via Toslink.

Yes, that is possible. The Soundbar remains connected to the TV, the TV is connected via HDMI to the box supplied with the headphones, which also controls the headphones. As soon as the headphones are switched on, the sound is directed to the headphones and the soundbar is muted. When the headphones are switched off, the sound goes through the soundbar again.
