No, unfortunately the PS4 Slim does not have an optical connection. However, you can connect the station to your TV and transmit the sound (Toslink or HDMI).
No is not possible. But the base has an optical output for a second base.
I briefly took a closer look at the Playbar here on Digitec. You can only operate it like Optical Toslink, i.e. the Sony MDR-HW700DS headphone base station is simply connected in between. So you take the optical cable out of the Sonos and put it in the Sony, then connect it to the Sonos with a new optical cable. This way you can hear the sound on both devices at the same time. To continue watching, you only have to turn down the sound on the Sonos or switch off the Playbar completely. The headphone remote control is in the right ear cup, so everything is wirelessly controllable.
I have had the headphones for 4 years now and they still work perfectly. Sometimes the system crashes. Then just pull the power cable out and put it back in and everything works fine again.
I'm not quite sure about this because I don't use OpticalAudio but do everything via HDMI, but: For HDMI, there is a setting in the menu of the headphone base station called "HDMI Pass Through" On or Off. This causes my downstream AV receiver to still receive an audio signal, or not. Now it also has a "TV+HP Audio Out" On or Off in the same menu. I assume, without guaranteeing, that this is the same function for optical audio. According to the manual (see Downloads, page 2 of the 163KB file), it should at least be this way. Switching off the PlayBar would therefore not be necessary, but if necessary you can tell the headphone base station that it does not output sound at the OpticalOut.
Unfortunately, only one pair of headphones. No additional headphones can be paired.
Need replacement ear pads as the leatherette cover is crumbling after a while. How can I order them?
I didn't find any here. So I ordered replacement leather pads for my son from the brand "Geekria" from the big competitor with the A. The company seems to specialise in spare parts for headphones. - The company seems to specialise in spare parts for headphones. They seem much more robust and my eldest finds the leather even more comfortable.
It is best to contact our customer service directly at https://www.digitec.ch/de/information/contactInformation. Then we can clarify whether we can obtain them individually. Unfortunately, we cannot usually offer such accessories directly through our shop.
I would say: No, because in my experience there is a noticeable latency when gaming. For musical instruments, I would therefore recommend wired headphones. I use an Audio Technica ATH M50 on my electric drum. I can warmly recommend it to you.
No problemo.... I wear glasses... perfect... one of the cleanest ear cups there is. No pressure or anything. I love them... I just sold one... the second one I don't need enough... but wearing comfort is megaprima... also works well with glasses on and 3d glasses on... the ear muscle helmets are then like brackets. Soft, fine and comfortable to wear. And the sound... mega good. You just have to adjust it and try it out... if i sell the other one...mhh... same as the first one...250 fr... melee you if you want to have a perfect part... a great tool from sony... what else...
The base station has 3 HDMI inputs plus a stereo line input. Surround is only possible via HDMI.
You can connect the whole thing either via optical digital cable (included) or via HDMI cable (sold separately).
Yes, the base station is connected between the source and the TV or you use the OPT-Out of the TV. For this purpose, there are 3 HDMI inputs and one HDMI output or you can use the optical input which is looped through OP-In to OP-Out so that the signal can still be used for a surround system.
Yes, that is possible. The Soundbar remains connected to the TV, the TV is connected via HDMI to the box supplied with the headphones, which also controls the headphones. As soon as the headphones are switched on, the sound is directed to the headphones and the soundbar is muted. When the headphones are switched off, the sound goes through the soundbar again.
I have also left the headphones charging for a while and like any device today, the headphones know when they are fully charged. After that, they just stop charging. So you can leave them plugged in.

The ear cup is very comfortable to wear and provides good passive noise attenuation. When the sound is on, you can hardly hear your surroundings.
Hello, no, it's not possible ... you do have this model Panasonic RP-WF830W Duo (Over-Ear) but we're not in the same range .
Doesn't this happen automatically when the whole thing is connected to a 4K TV and you are playing 1080p content?
I have now changed the frequency and it works again... as it should... a great thing... really... it is worth the purchase...
