Question about Sony MDR-HW700DS Wireless Surround Headphones

I ordered the headphones and am completely overwhelmed with setting them up. I have a TV with a Sony soundbar. There are no instructions on how to set it up. For me, the headphones are now useless, but maybe someone can help me on how to do this together with the soundbar.

I also have a Sony TV with a Sony soundbar. Works great with the headphones. Just put the headphones on and after a few seconds they are automatically activated and switched to the correct input on the Switchbox. Connect as mentioned above. Optical Out on the TV to the Switchbox and from there to the Soundbar.

Hello, you have to place the Switchbox between the Soundbar and the TV. I have the optical out from the TV to the input at the Switchbox. Then out at the Switchbox to the input at the Soundbar. You can then use the function of the Swithbox to put the sound on the headphones and suppress the Soundbar. If you want, you can also have sound on the headphones AND the Switchbox. Hope this works.
