Could this RAM be installed? I am confused by the exact model numbers. Unfortunately, there is only 8gb available for this notebook. https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/phs-memory-ram-passend-fuer-asus-rog-flow-x16-gv601vu-nf021w-1-x-16gb-ram-modellspezifisch-24684261?loginActionIdV2=7ec8b383-37ed-44a0-a163-e22c48098bca
Just to make sure there's no confusion: the 2022 Flow X16 (regardless of model number, see https://rog.asus.com/ch-en...) comes with 16GB of RAM out of the box; there are 2 slots on the motherboard, each populated with an 8GB module.
While I don't have any experience with the specific RAM module you asked about, in case you need more than the 16GB the laptop comes with by default, I can recommend Crucial's CT32G48C40S5 (Crucial CT32G48C40S5 (1 x 32GB, 4800 MHz, DDR5 RAM, SO-DIMM)) - you get 32 GB for 80 CHF instead of 16 GB for 74 CHF. It works perfectly in my 2022 Flow X16 (Ryzen 7 6800HS + RTX 3060) and it also gives you room to upgrade to 64GB down the line if you ever need it. Each DDR5 RAM module already runs in dual channel, so you're not losing significant performance compared to having both RAM slots populated (with two 16GB modules, for example ... in which case you'd be running the memory in a quad-channel configuration). That being said, any 4800Mhz DDR5 SO-DIMM module should be fine for the 2022 Flow X16.
I'm not sure I understand your question, or at least what you're talking about when you mention 8 GB. If you're talking about the RTX's RAM, which is only 6 GB, you'd have to change RTXs to increase it... but that's fine for games. Then, if you're talking about RAM, then yes, I've overdone it and added 2x32 GB of RAM. I hope I've answered your question!
Nice afternoon
