Question about WD My Book

Does anyone know the tbix file format? This is created during a back up. Is it possible to restore all data, photos and videos 1:1 from this compromised file? Of the 6.25 TB to be backed up, 3.07 TB was saved as a tbix file on MY Book. Is this now a complete back-up of all photos and videos? Will the 6.26 Tb. be restored to its original state in the event of a recovery? My back-up plan at the moment is to use the Pegasus 6 raid 20 TB and then the WD My Book as a back-up from this. Thanks for any tips!

I assume you are referring to the .tibx format, because .tbix is unfortunately not known to me. The .tibx file is an image backup from the Acronis True Image software and it is not unusual that this file is about 50%-70% smaller (compressed) than the original data. Normally you should be able to view the image with the Acronis software, if this does not work, I recommend contacting Acronis support: https://www.acronis.com/de-de...
