Works via AirPlay2 but Siri voice input does not work with Spoty

By sharing audio, do you mean playing the music through the HomePod? You can select the output source directly in the Spotify app, i.e. click on Airplay at the bottom left and then select the output source. With Apple, everything works via Airplay, i.e. the annoying setting via Bluetooth does not have to be made.
