Is there already a suitable docking station that supports 5k at 240Hz so that you can connect the thing to a laptop? Probably not (yet), right?

The bandwidth of current HDMI and DisplayPort standards is not sufficient to natively drive "5K" at 240 Hz. This will only be possible with the upcoming HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.0 standards (the latter in particular is a monster). For this monitor, Samsung uses the DSC 1.2a compression method, which in turn is included in the DisplayPort 1.4a standard. Thus, your graphics card and/or your docking
station must support this standard in order to achieve the 240 Hz at "5K". I don't know if such a docking station exists. If there is, it would have to be connected via Thunderbolt 3 in order to be able to deliver the necessary bandwidth.
This display is NOT 5K! Not even 4K in terms of the number of pixels and therefore bandwidth. What this thing is supposed to do on a laptop is generally unclear to me (with the high refresh rate). If you want to game at 240Hz, you'd better buy a desktop and go directly to the graphics card.
is it possible in the meantime to operate this monitor with a laptop via a docking station or otherwise and display the full resolution? Even if only 120Hz, but the full width? Do I simply need a docking station with a 1.4a display? Unfortunately, with the filter here, it is not possible to filter for Displayport 1.4a with docking stations. Does anyone have any ideas?
