It works, but it's far too oversized for a Legion 7. You get the same result with a Lexar NM620, for example:
Lexar NM620 (2000 GB, M.2 2280)
As far as I know, the SSDs are backwards compatible.
Yes, but it only runs at PCI 3x4 speed.
