It is almost certainly due to the length or quality of the cable. USB is not suitable for 15m, at most 5m. With Toslink it can also be 20m; but it depends on the cable quality and the plug. The plug must fit tightly. Unless you tell me now that the other PC has no problem with the same long cable... ?

So, I have installed the new PC with this mainboard, everything works.
However, when I connect a USB cable to a DAC in the back, I have noise.
Even with a 15 m Toslink cable, I always had interruptions in the sound.
This mainboard only has USB 3.0 or 3.1 connections at the back.
There are only USB 2.0 ports on the front.
I don't have this on the USB 2.0 ports on another PC.
What could be the reason for this?

Since you have already ruled out the cable, it is of course theoretically possible that some voltage transformer on the MoBo is responsible for the problem. What I would try to rule out first, however, would be the power supply unit. If you have the possibility to connect another NT to the system, this would strengthen the suspicion. Crackling and noise in the sound are often signs of overvoltage. Audio outputs are of course the most sensitive.
What you can try, for example, I solved it for my Katana soundbar by using an adapter cable for USB-C.
It wasn't the solution for me at the time either, as it's a firmware problem with the Katana, but it would also be an option for you.
Overall, however, I think it's more of a voltage problem. That's why I would really try the NT, even if it's so new, to rule it out.
After that, I would simply register a return of the mainboard. Here at Galaxus, that's very quick :)
