Hello I have recently had the problem that the SSD hard disk does not work when accessed via the password protection programme "PrivatAccess_win". It displays "no response" at the top. What can I do without losing the password protection over the whole SSD hard disk? Many thanks in advance Thomas

I would try the SSD on another PC.
As a general rule, you should always eject a USB drive via the icon at the bottom right before removing it, otherwise you may end up with data rubbish.
