How about Digitec not always confirming items after ordering with release day incl. collection from approx. 11am, but then switching to "unknown" on the release day. When asked on the phone "yes, we haven't received a date from the supplier yet", why don't you write this from the beginning, I bet you knew that weeks ago!

Yes, more transparency would be desirable.

I cancelled directly with Digitec free of charge....others had 2 to 4 weeks from the beginning. Honestly, Digitec doesn't care, they make too much turnover. These dates are entered by suppliers and they are not asked to pay for delays. Several times in the last 2 years I have had things in stock for 5 to 7 days and after 4 to 8 weeks they arrived or I cancelled. That's why Digitec has lost one or two

francs in the meantime. I now order more often from others.

Yes really, I contacted customer service 2 weeks ago and asked if I would be high up in the queue if I pre-ordered it at that time. I was told that I was one of the first and would most likely get the processor in the first week after launch. As it is, my new PC can now wait for the last part. I also asked if they could adjust the price a bit, since I'm ordering all the components at once. They promised

me a 10% discount. All I had to do was send the invoice number to customer service after buying the items. I bought the items, sent the invoice number, "I would like to inform you that unfortunately I cannot enter the discount, as this is beyond my competence". Nice...

They would probably have missed out on one or two deals, and now the comparison portal has the shortest delivery time of all the shops again - a naughty person!
