How suitable is this notebook for video editing? We are talking about 4k and 8k raw material for video editing. I have read in a review that the notebook gets too hot when rendering and sometimes crashes. Does anyone have any experience with this? Unfortunately, I can't switch to a Macbook Pro because I'm simply not in the Apple ecosystem and would otherwise have to buy a lot of new things for my video editing. Maybe someone knows a good alternative. Surface Laptop Studio 2 would also have been an option, but then I read that the response time of the screen would be a disaster.

This model is well suited for video editing. It has a similarly powerful GPU as the Creator series in the same price range and a display that can be tilted backwards. In terms of cooling, it can get hot with such high data volumes, so if the tilting touch display is not important, you may want to consider a normal gaming machine as they achieve much better cooling. They are simply thicker. I would argue that the display resolution in this price range is relatively low for video editing. The following model has the same graphics performance, very good cooling and a resolution of 3840x2400:
ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X OLED RTX 4070
