I bought this motherboard and combined it with the Ryzen 5 1600 after a few attempts to get my system running the same message always came up on the motherboard Cpu not found / fail. I have installed it as it stood but could not change anything on the Msi page said that it was compatible, is that a mistake or is one of the parts damaged? on Youtube there is unfortunately also nothing helpful to this motherboard.

The motherboard also came with a CD (do I need it?) (bios).

I hope you can help me (this is my first PC build).

I bought the same motherboard a few months ago and the AMD Ryzen 5 2600 (AM4, 3.40GHz, Unlocked).
is compatible and works flawlessly for me. i'm sorry that i can't be of more help.

I also had the problem at the beginning, but I was able to fix it by making a boot stick with the latest BIOS for the CPU.

Load the new BIOS when the mainboard only has power. (Generate update stick)

After the update with the latest BIOS, it worked for me.
