I currently use Google Smart Speaker Services via a SONOS ONE. This works very well, but I cannot create shortcuts in my Google Home environment. My guess is that this requires at least one "real" Google Smart Speaker.
Can anyone confirm this?

I use Google Assistant without a Google Nest on my network, just Sonos ONE and BEAM. However, the Sonos BEAM sometimes reacts to my sound from the TV, which is less cool...
