Question about SanDisk Extreme PRO Portable

I have a "current" laptop with a Thunderbolt 4 port. Can I benefit from the higher read/write performance with this model (SDSSDE81-2T00-G25); if so, will the included C to C connection cable suffice? Which cable, if any, can be recommended to take advantage of the read/write performance of up to 2000 MB/s. Or is this model not worth it (because advertised performance up to 2000 MB/s cannot be achieved with TB 4) and should I switch to the still strong SDSSDE61-2T00-G25 model instead?

Helpful answer

I have a laptop with an SSD and work with a C to C connection cable. The storage and access speed is amazing. I can't provide exact figures, but the entire backup is completed within seconds.

Hello Jean-Nicol1, as the saying goes, and it also applies in the data transfer "world", the weakest, slowest link determines how fast it is. In your specific case, it is the external SSD. Although for the USB 3.2 - USB C interface,
as far as I know, it's the best performing external SSD at the moment. In any case, I am very satisfied. But you have the TB 4.0 interface at your disposal and you can get a lot more out of it. You could, for example, use the "OWC MINISTACK STX" and use the equally fast TB 4.0 interface.
