I have two S-ATA II (3.5") hard drives installed in my old PC, do they go into this NAS or is it a different type of hard drive? (I am not very computer savvy)

They will probably fit and work. But it makes little sense to install normal desktop HDDs in a NAS. Especially if a RAID is set up, NAS/server HDDs should be installed. Keyword: TLER btw. ERC, CCTL, ...

Der Hersteller hat eine Kompatibilitätsprobleme Liste: www.synology.com/de-de/compatibility?search_by=products&mode...

Should be OK, the NAS takes normal 3.5" hard drives.
