Question about Apple MacBook Air – Late 2020

Is 8GB of RAM with 512GB SSD enough for office, all-round applications and photoshop? Or do I really need 16GB RAM with 512GB SSD? I have been working on Windows until now, so I have no idea. My memory is now occupied with about 260GB. Thanks for info Susanne

Enough for sure. These new Macs are not only different compared to Windows: they make a massive leap with M1 and integrated RAM compared to the models they replace (also from the same year). Now the price has dropped from the 16GB model and they pay 130.- more for twice as much RAM and twice as much SSD. That's what I would afford.
