Is it true that the 4Tb and 8Tb versions of this SSD have QLC NAND instead of TLC like the 1 and 2Tb versions?

Yes, that is correct. I have been using this type of SSD for a while and have not observed any write errors so far. But the "total bytes written" will probably be lower than with TLC. Whether I have replaced the SSD by then or it needs a new laptop computer remains to be seen. I only have a SATA interface as a second interface in this laptop computer and therefore the PNY fits.
