This doesn’t meet the requirements to install in the PS5. The PS5 requires a sequential read speed of at least 5500MB/second. This drive is 3500MB/second. Check that spec before buying a drive for your PS5.

According to Sonys website your new NVMe SSD requirements are the following:
- PCI-express Gen4 x4 (Socket 3, M-Key)
- width: up to 25mm - length up to 110mm
- Thickness up to 11.25mm (max. 8mm on top, 2,45mm on the bottom)
- 5'500MB/s sequuential read speed is recommended
