When connecting an external monitor (via HDMI), it should actually be possible to use the Chromebook's keyboard, thus CB in "tablet mode" (360°) with screen down and keyboard up.... is this possible? but the keyboard will probably be locked, or maybe the device recognises that a monitor is connected and the keyboard works? Otherwise, an additional external keyboard will probably have to be used (an additional component that is not necessary in itself).
