I don't know if the M.2 fits on a Z590. The heat sinks are not mandatory, I left them out at first because they were hotter than without heat sinks (my mistake). In the meantime, I have it with a heat sink. It heats up quite quickly with heavy use, hence the cooling things, at least in my opinion.

If the motherboard has an M.2 slot, you can use this SSD.
To get the full performance of the SSD, the M.2 slot should have PCIe 4.0.
