I often work from my home office, but I also travel a lot on planes. Can I connect this headset to the aircraft IFE (Inflight Entertainment) via a cable? Presumably it needs a USB C - 3.5mm jack?

Exactly. Or USB C - jack adapter, then jack cable 3.5.
However, with some headphones, the cable connection is not as great as the Bluetooth, I've noticed with Sennheiser, but I haven't tried it with Jabra.
