The Maxxsafe® is designed to allow all occupants (especially children) to exit the vehicle under and above water. The Maxxsafe® is attached to the rear window so that it is always in the right place when the car is in the water. It is always darker under water and it is more difficult to find a safety hammer, especially if the safety hammer is also under water. When the Maxxsafe® comes into contact with water, a red LED light flashes.
