Use:
This pump is designed for pumping clean or slightly dirty water. It features automatic suction at low water levels from 5 mm, preventing major flooding in areas without a pump shaft or floor drain, such as during heavy rain, burst pipes, or defective washing machines. It is suitable for emergency use in case of flooding. The cooling jacket with a pressure connection at the top ensures sufficient motor cooling at low water levels. The sensor switch automatically activates the pump at a water level of only 5 mm, and residual water is pumped down to 2 mm.

Installation: The pump can be installed as stationary or transportable.
Pumped liquid: It can handle clear or dirty water with solid particles up to 3 mm in size. The maximum temperature of the pumped medium is 35°C, briefly up to 60°C.
Operating mode: C240 operates in continuous mode (S1), and at medium temperatures of 36 - 60°C, it operates in intermittent mode (S3 30%).

Construction type:
This is a submersible pump with a motor bypass, consisting of:
Pump: A single-stage centrifugal pump with a vertical pressure connection.
Impeller: An open multi-vane impeller with a free passage of 3 mm for C240 and 2 mm for C270.
Motor: A pressurized water-tight motor with medium circulation, featuring a stainless steel motor housing. It has an insulation class of B and a protection class of IPX8. There is a thermal sensor for temperature monitoring in the winding.
Shaft/bearing: The motor shaft is made of strongly dimensioned chrome steel, with permanently lubricated roller bearings.
Seal: The C240 features a shaft seal with a triple shaft seal ring and ceramic-coated sealing surfaces, while the C270 uses a combination of mechanical seal and shaft seal.
