Exiting through a locked door is possible at any time using the interior handle, a panic bar, or a push bar. These mechanisms retract the long bolt while simultaneously softening the latch (panic function). A knob or a handle bar is mounted on the outside. The door can be opened from the outside with a key by switching the mechanism. When the door closes, the lock automatically engages (self-locking). This is only available in combination with a panic side leaf locking mechanism, which allows for opening even when the main leaf lock is engaged (panic function) using the handle, panic set, or push bar. It self-locks when the door closes through the control lock activation.

With panic function E, self-locking, latch with integrated noise dampening. Suitable for knob and free-running cylinders, not suitable for external bolt contacts.
