Pewag tie-down straps are manufactured according to EN 12195-2 and are made of polyester (PES). There are single-part and two-part tie-down straps. A two-part tie-down strap consists of a fixed end (end fitting, strap, and tensioning element) and a loose end (strap and end fitting). End fittings include: RH = round hook, DHS = triangular ring with eye, DKR = snap hook with triangular ring, ZSH = with S-hook. Tie-down straps should not be used for lifting loads but only for securing cargo.
