These electropermanent magnets hold in the activated state and release in the deactivated state. Typical applications include machine mechanisms, door/protection interlocks, and remote hold/release. Optimum performance is achieved when used with RS mounting plates (sold separately). The 12V DC and 24V DC versions feature a 2-pole connector in accordance with protection class IP20. The 240V AC versions have a connector in accordance with DIN 43650 and protection class IP54.
