Solid, ground machine tap made of high-speed steel with 5% cobalt content (HSSE-Co 5) and reinforced shank for through holes and blind holes. Cutting edge: Form B, approximately 4 - 5 threads with a chamfered cutting edge. Thread: metric DIN ISO 13. Flanks: back-ground. Suitable for unalloyed steels up to 1,000 N/mm² strength. The thread is cut in a single operation.
