The robust uvex 2 safety shoe series in protection class S2/S3 is optimized for medium-heavy applications and is suitable for sectors such as chemicals, transport and logistics, energy, mechanical engineering, and trade. It features a particularly lightweight and flexible, 100% metal-free uvex xenova toe cap of the latest generation, with a compact design and anatomical shape that provides good lateral stability, no thermal conductivity, and is non-magnetic.

The non-metallic, anti-puncture insole meets the latest standards without impairing the shoe's flexibility. Manufactured with new last technology, it offers exceptional wearing comfort. The optimized wearing sensation is enhanced by uvex climazone technology. The upper is made of hydrophobic and breathable, particularly soft cowhide leather, ensuring optimum ventilation thanks to the Distance Mesh lining material.

The shoe includes an individually adjustable, elastic handle with a quick lock, and a standard replacement handle is included (model 6502 only). The almost seamless shaft construction helps to avoid pressure points. It features a removable comfort footbed that is antistatic, equipped with a moisture transport system and additional cushioning in the heel and forefoot.

The soft padded collar and padded dust flap enhance comfort. The two-layer sole consists of a particularly light and highly shock-absorbing midsole and a very slip-resistant outsole, free from substances that interfere with lacquer wetting, such as silicones and plasticizers. An injected polyurethane overcap protects the upper leather over the toe cap, significantly extending its service life. The shoe meets ESD requirements with a bleeder resistor.
