Product details

The Victron Phoenix 12/500VE.Direct is a small sine wave inverter with 400 W continuous power, supplied with a Schuko socket.

For short periods, it can deliver up to 900 W to supply high inrush currents of LED lighting, electrical appliances, or motors. The Phoenix 12/500VE.Direct is suitable for connection to batteries with 12 V DC voltage and converts this to a pure 230 V sine wave AC voltage. With an efficiency of 90%, it is one of the best devices in its class. Via the VE.Direct connection, the device can be connected to a computer or smartphone, allowing various parameters to be configured.

The inverter is ready to use with factory settings and can be configured using a computer (VE.Direct to USB interface cable required), Apple and Android smartphone, tablet, or other devices (VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart Dongle required). Configurable parameters include output AC voltage, output frequency, low battery alarm threshold, shutdown voltage, and battery charge status detection voltage. Settings for ECO mode stop and power start are also adjustable.

Set the front panel switch to ECO mode to reduce power consumption in no-load mode. The inverter then switches off automatically when no loads are connected and checks for loads every 2.5 seconds. If the output power exceeds the set limit, the inverter resumes operation. These parameters are also configurable.

A remote on/off switch can be connected to the two-pin connector, or the left contact of the plug can be switched to the positive battery terminal, which is useful in automotive applications. Wire it to the ignition contact.
