Extremely slim. The terminals of Generation 221 are a true space miracle: their volume has been reduced by 40% compared to the previous model (Series 222). This allows electricians to easily implement applications in tight installation conditions. Thanks to the extremely slim design of the new series, the wired terminals can be easily and quickly placed into the installation boxes. Additionally, the space savings provide extra opportunities for future expansions.

See what’s going on. The new housing design of Series 221 made from transparent plastic allows for easy visual inspection of the correct conductor position. After connecting, the electrician can immediately see if all conductors are fully inserted and correctly connected. The correct stripping length of the conductors can now also be easily checked at a glance. Closed conductor funnels ensure clear guidance of the conductors to the terminal point.

User-friendliness in focus. Through two test openings, the installer can comfortably and safely check the terminal even when installed, using all common test probes. The lateral grip recesses in the housing enhance user-friendliness when opening the levers. The new terminal generation is based on the proven tool-free CAGE CLAMP® technology, where the terminal points are opened and closed using an operating lever. The difference from the previous model: operating the lever is now even easier. This allows conductors to be connected even more simply and quickly.

Wide range of applications. As a universal terminal, the new Series 221 can accommodate all common types of conductors: with just one terminal, conductor cross-sections from 0.14 to 4 mm² (fine-stranded) or 0.2 to 4 mm² (solid and multi-stranded) can be covered.
