A customer sent us the answer directly by e-mail:

I can't answer whether the grill grate fits because I don't know how large the base of the Q1200 is. I thought that the 120 and the 220 had identical dimensions, but I am not 100% sure either. However, maybe the size of the grate will help:
Length 43 cm (if you hold both halves together), width 32 cm.
Oh, and by the way, the enamelling is much

better than on the first grate and cleaning is also easier because it is in 2 parts, at least that is how I judge it. Maybe this answer will help you.
