It is best to contact our customer service at https://helpcenter.digitec.ch/hc/de/requests/new to enquire about the conditions of a special procurement. In principle, it should be possible to organise the desired configuration for you.
I haven't tried it myself but after a quick web search it should be possible with the "target display mode".
I don't know, but the iMac prices are already overpriced out of the box. Maybe Appel has realised this too!
Yes, Ethernet (Local Area Network / LAN) is available on this Mac. Connection to the power supply unit!
It is not easy to recognise the version with the Ethernet connection in the power supply when ordering, generally only the Mac Mini with M1 processor and 8 graphics cores has this equipment. They are available in the colours blue, green, rosé, silver, yellow, orange and purple. What is also less known is that only the 8 GPU version has two fans, which ensure quieter operation because two run slower to cool the iMac ideally than one. The technical specifications state whether it is the 7 or 8 core graphics unit. This one would be one that has the 8 Core graphics unit, I would only recommend this version because only this one also has the keyboard with the integrated fingerprint reader: Apple iMac (M1, 8 GB, 256 GB, SSD)
Yes.
If it is Presonus Studio One, it should not be a problem. According to the website, it even seems to support Apple silicon (ARM64) directly (and without an emulator), so there should be no performance problems. However, I have no practical experience with Studio One myself. However, I use the IMac myself for memory and compute-intensive applications and have had no problems so far and am very satisfied.
The Mac has an RJ45 network connection
No, with the new generation of Apple Silicone, all components such as CPU, GPU, memory and hard disk are integrated in one chip (System on a Chip SOC). This has advantages in terms of efficiency, but you cannot exchange or expand parts.
Yes, keyboard and mouse are included
Unfortunately not. The keyboard can be purchased separately: Apple Magic (US, Kabellos)
About 3 times as fast. However, this is not due to the RAM, but to the much faster CPU. RAM determines how much software you can load at the same time. Just check your device to see how much RAM is actually used during work.
Hello, I'm going through the same thing. Just order the cheaper one, Digitec will surely react if the price is not right. Fr. 2373 is a good price for this iMAC. You can insist on this price. RE
Yes, and a keyboard as well.
Good day and thank you for your comment. We will try to complete the specifications as soon as possible. In this specific case, it is an 8C CPU and 8C GPU variant.
Look at Apple itself (Apple.ch-de), there you can see what Apple can deliver. Digitec sells pre-configured devices without the possibility of individual additions.
So the keys and mouse surface are white, but the underside of the mouse and the keyboard housing are orange.
I ordered this model in October for 2133.-. My Mac has the 8-core CPU / 8-core GPU in it.
This iMac is equipped with an Apple M1 graphics card (7 cores).
I am strongly assuming the 7-core model here, as the configuration is comparatively cheap compared to the more expensive models (16GB RAM, 512 GB SSD). Similar configurations are also always declared with the 7-core GPU model on Toppreise: https://www.toppreise.ch/preisvergleich/Komplettsysteme/APPLE-iMac-24-Retina-4-5K-CTO-Apple-M1-16GB-RAM-512GB-SSD-Z14M-p653263?posf=1 The 8-core model with the above-mentioned specs is priced more in the >1950 range. The fact that the products are not clearly specified as you described is unfortunately the case with most shops... Please correct me if I am wrong here :)
Good evening Yes, there is an Ethernet socket on the external power supply. 😉 Well solved by Apple
If you are ordering this item, as mentioned above => The following devices are included in the delivery Peripherals supplied : Mouse: Apple magic mouse (wireless) Keyboard : Apple magic keyboard with Touch ID Key layout : Swiss (QWERTZ) There are no other options.

Without numeric keypad by default. At Apple, you can configure it directly with a numeric keypad (+30.-).
The best thing to do is to contact our customer service directly at https://helpcenter.digitec.ch/hc/de/requests/new. Your request can then be examined individually.
Thank you very much for the detailed evaluation. In order for your review to receive more attention, you can also place such feedback in the review section in the future.
That's not so easy to answer, because the iMac has a resolution of 4480 x 2520 at 218 ppi. To avoid eye strain, I would use something externally that has at least a UHD 3840 x 2160 resolution; these screens are quite cheap, around 300 francs. However, at 27 inches they have a PPI value of 163, which would make the iMac panel smaller and sharper. I think because of the difference between internal and external screen resolution, the Mac Mini solution with two additional UHD screens would be more optimal.
