Cooler Master Vertical Graphics Card Holder Kit
Cooler Master Vertical Graphics Card Holder Kit
...that's clear. :)
No, you can't. You have to pay attention to the size. I also had to fit my thing with support screws so that it could sit well. But now I've installed the Cable Mode Braket, which is simply better. CableMod Verti PCI-e Bracket (210cm)
The item is unfortunately sold out and no longer available from the supplier.
Hello Lazar, according to Lian Li, he even refers to an optional vertical installation. I did it that way in my sharkoon night shark, and there is still plenty of room for a fan underneath. This should also work for you
The riser cable ends in a circuit board that is screwed to the holder, so yes, it can be replaced.
I bought this one and also have the LianLi O11 dynamic case. Fits perfectly and leaves enough space so that you could still use 3 fans at the bottom. With the Lian Li vertical kit, fans are no longer possible.
In the meantime I was able to answer the question myself: You have to pay attention to the design of the PCI slots of your case. If it has horizontal struts between the slots, the vertically installed card will bump into them and the connections will be covered, as the card is not moved inwards into the case as with mounts from e.g. Cable-Mod. With my BeQuiet Dark Base 900 Pro rev.2, it was sufficient to bend the struts a little outwards and at the HDMI port a little upwards and downwards instead of having to remove them.
As far as I know, the Strix Helios already has a vertical graphics card holder, but it probably doesn't come with an extension cable, which you can also buy... But yes, theoretically you could install it, but you would probably have to remove the braces from the PCI slots on the case.
Only the already installed PCIe x16 riser cable is included in the scope of delivery. With this product, the connections of the installed graphics card are exposed and are not offset to the rear of the case. You need a case that does not have any (!) ribs between the slot covers, otherwise you have to use a Dremel and remove them.
No, unfortunately not. The Cablemod is okay for the NZXT H510
With a little tinkering, the bracket actually fits in every midi tower. (I have also installed it) The MasterCase H500P even has extra vertical slots on the back for vertical graphics card mounting (you can see this in the pictures). So in my opinion it should work without any problems.
Yes, the riser is included (it says so...). But it really only works with Coller-Master enclosures. Everything else doesn't work. Otherwise I would have one to give away for cheap... ;-))
I just had the same problem, my Gainward RTX2080 card even started to throttle due to the small distance to the window, the cooling definitely gets worse, but it also depends on what kind of airflow there is in the case. Better would be a blower cooler or directly a WaKü. Greetings
In terms of size, it should certainly fit. With your case and many others, you have the problem that there is a frame between the covers for the graphics card slots, which is in the way of such a kit. Therefore, you would have to cut out parts of the frame. I bought this kit myself and, contrary to many other opinions, I think it is good.
Hi Nero, I had to throw the one that came with it in the bin twice because it was just no good. Then I got this one and was very satisfied Fractal Flex VCR-25 (21cm)
Be sure to contact the Coolermaster website and check the compi list, because this thing doesn't fit everywhere!
Where does the RAM sit in your case? I have an RTX 2080ti (i.e. a wide card) and it doesn't come anywhere near the RAMs. Otherwise, the distance to the mainboard is an estimated 5 cm. Sincerely
It fits into almost every housing that has 7 pci slots. If there are cross struts, they have to be cut out. But for the o-11dynamic there is a suitable kit from lian li.
so i also have the teik in my pc if you have at least 7pcie brackets at home it goes in
No risk. Your graphics card will get a maximum of 1 degree but your PC will not overheat at all. The only thing is that you won't hear it working when you use it, at least with my gtx 1080TI.
if it fits in your motherboard it fits here too.
As you can read in the review below I had 2 cables and with neither of them I got a signal with my gtx 1070ti. There is also which cable I have now ordered I hope it will work with it :)
No. Compatible with: MasterCase 5 / MasterCase Pro 5 / MasterCase Maker 5 / MasterCase Maker 5t / MasterCase Pro 6 / MasterBox 5 / MasterBox 5 White / MasterBox 5 MSI Edition / MasterBox 5t
Hi I don't have any data at all, Just recently bought and installed the kit. Installation is very simple. You can install this holder in any case (doesn't have to be CoolerMaster) as long as it has 7 free slots on the back. Bear in mind, however, that with this holder you will no longer be able to install an external sound card, for example, as (presumably) all slots will be occupied. That is just a hint. The specs of your case look like this: Number of plug-in card slots: 8x Max. Length graphics card: 490 mm Therefore no problem! There are also various videos where you can follow the installation very easily. Regarding the benchmark, no more than 1% of performance should be lost with this conversion.
