Basically, such monitor mounts must support the weight and possibly the height of the monitor alone. Size specifications such as -42" here, for example, should be regarded more as guidelines. The mount here is attached/screwed to the tabletop with two clamps (see Fig. 4) or can also be permanently mounted by means of a hole directly through the tabletop. The "HX Arm With Very Heavy Duty Pivot Desk Mount Black" from Ergotron is compatible with various monitors, regardless of whether they are curved or not. - Max. Monitor size: The mount supports monitors up to a size of 57 inches. - VESA wall mount type: The mount is compatible with 100 x 100 mm and 75 x 75 mm VESA mounts. - Payload: The mount can support a load of up to 17 kg. Since the Gigabyte AORUS FO32U2P has a size of 32 inches and probably fulfils the VESA mounting requirements, it should be compatible with this mount, provided it uses the appropriate VESA mounting holes and does not exceed the weight limit.

The monitor arm is not designed for ceiling alignment (upside down). The arm is placed on the base, which allows the maximum direction of rotation with small Allen screws. Even if you try (against all reason) to mount the base on the ceiling, the arm will fall down at the latest when it is hanging with a weight of just 5-8 kg, as the small Allen screws are not designed for hanging loads.

You don't need anything else. If you carry out the assembly correctly, you can easily do it on your own. Because it is a well thought-out system.

Firstly, you need to check that the vesa standards are the same (100x100 200x200). If this is not the case, you will need to buy an adaptive plate to make it compatible. If they are the same then try to check if there are screws on the screen that allow you to remove the round part and uncover the fixing plate (this is often the case with competing brands). If neither of the two solutions work, it will be complicated. Good evening
