I was able to do some research and according to the manufacturer's instructions, "HD" stands for "HD hinge", which allows larger monitors such as a "Samsung Odyssey G9 49" ultra wide" to be positioned more comfortably. If an ultra-wide monitor is not to be used, the HX version without HD joint can also be selected without further ado, provided the requirements (weight, display size, VESA, etc.) are suitable.

The "HX Arm With Very Heavy Duty Pivot Desk Mount Black" from Ergotron is compatible with various monitors, regardless of whether they are curved or not. - Max. Monitor size: The mount supports monitors up to a size of 57 inches. - VESA wall mount type: The mount is compatible with 100 x 100 mm and 75 x 75 mm VESA mounts. - Payload: The mount can support a load of up to 17 kg. Since the Gigabyte AORUS FO32U2P has a size of 32 inches and probably fulfils the VESA mounting requirements, it should be compatible with this mount, provided it uses the appropriate VESA mounting holes and does not exceed the weight limit.

It has Vesa 100x100 and weighs less than 15kg. So I think so. I have the bracket and another Samsung. The ultra-widths are virtually all the same in their basic design.

I have the same moni on there, it has a screw in the arm for tightening. Should be visible in the assembly instructions. Tighten with the 4mm Allen key at the top of the arm. The force is increased in the clockwise direction. Greetings

The monitor arm is not designed for ceiling alignment (upside down). The arm is placed on the base, which allows the maximum direction of rotation with small Allen screws. Even if you try (against all reason) to mount the base on the ceiling, the arm will fall down at the latest when it is hanging with a weight of just 5-8 kg, as the small Allen screws are not designed for hanging loads.

Not suitable for 57 inch. Horizontal bracket is too weak for the projection of the 57 inch. Always tilts down. Had to make special adjustment to keep it horizontal. The extension arms are strong enough.

You don't need anything else. If you carry out the assembly correctly, you can easily do it on your own. Because it is a well thought-out system.

It doesn't matter. I wouldn't choose the monitor based on the mount, rather the other way around. Just look at the VESA size.

The arm is very stable, I have the Samsung Neo G9 in 49". The table was bought at Ikea and is a fake wooden table (5cm thick). I have never fully extended the arm but I don't think it should be a problem. The mounting plate of the Ergotron is quite large compared to others. The money is worth it, I have already bought it twice because it convinced me so much.

Hi Tim, I have two Samsung 49 LC49HG90DMRXEN directly above each other in use. I had to search for a long time and finally decided on the "Neomounts by Newstar FPMA-D960DVBLACKPLUS". Please note that you will need the wall brackets supplied with the monitors to mount them BN96-42913B BN61-14898B Samsung Monitor Wall Bracket (No. 324686683974). I have to admit that this solution is not optimal either and aligning the two monitors so that it fits was quite tricky, especially with a weight of 15 kg per monitor. But it worked and the mount is stable and serves the purpose.
