I write with an ordinary, cheap pen that also works on other smartphone touchscreens. The response time is quite good, e.g. on the Windows 10 Whiteboard app 1903. It is perhaps not quite optimal because they are not sharp. But there are also more expensive models on the market, e.g. Adonit Mini 4.

The new 2019 model has been available for a long time. The biggest difference is the Huawei branding (Huawei lettering without logo on the front). Since apart from the branding and the barely relevant better graphics card (MX250 instead of MX150) hardly anything has changed, I did not return the product. Now the price has dropped even further, so it hurts a little in retrospect. Anyway: 1199 CHF is an unbeatable price, I would definitely recommend it to you.
