The Art mode is completely different from the Ambient mode. It is best to have a look at the website of The Frame. There it is more or less described how it is constructed. In any case, it does not have the ambient mode of the newer Qled models. mfg
Maybe yes - maybe no. 5m will work, but it also depends on the light conditions...
Hello, both a power cable and the thin optical cable go to the TV. The power cable is quite thin and the optical cable can be easily wrapped around it or hidden behind it. The remote control is, as far as I know, radio and not infrared. So there doesn't have to be a direct line of sight to the TV - but I don't know if the receiver is in the TV or in the box. The brand new QLED TVs from Samsung apparently only have one cable, but they also cost more and don't have pretty frames.
Hello Juan1905 The screen glass is slightly anti-reflective, but you can see lamps and windows in it. This is no more disturbing than in a normal picture behind glass. But what is much more unpleasant is that the motion detector and the on/off function do not yet work properly. Adjusting to the ambient brightness also still needs improvement. I am aware that this is a new device and will therefore still have a few "teething problems". A software update is still needed here... Greetings Christian
No, unfortunately it doesn't work. Either, or.
Good morning yes it is possible without problems it does not need an adapter With kind regards
In terms of picture quality and picture frame look, the frame is top. The software for displaying photos in art mode is very limited. The same picture is always displayed until you change it manually. Up to 1 GB of memory can be stored in the frame, but the frame does not make a slideshow in Art Mode. For me, for example, it would be nice if the frame would randomly select and display an image from the stored collection every time it is reactivated by the motion sensor. Maybe such a feature will come with a software update. Regardless of the 4K display, so it doesn't necessarily have to be a frame, I think an Apple TV is a nice solution for displaying images. Either in a slideshow mode of Apple's Photo App or also, for example, of Lightroom, or then simply in screensaver mode, in which random images from a previously defined album of photos are shown. Here, however, there is a small Apple hook (as of today 05.12.2017): Only one shared album can be selected as a screensaver and according to Apple the maximum resolution for photos in a shared album is not 4K, but something between 4K and Full HD. For display on a 4K display, the images are scaled up again. I think you can see the difference between a 4K rendered image from Lightroom and the same upscaled image from Photos quite clearly. Of course, it varies somewhat from image to image.
It doesn't matter how many pictures you load in "4K"... they are only 8.2MP anyway. Only 1 of them is shown at a time. I mean... you can watch movies in 4K... and that's several frames/s. The images are then simply changed after a time... nothing more. I was able to watch the TV live and play with it a bit ^^
The Connect Box is supplied. There is one cable from the TV to the box and one power cable from the TV to the socket. This should be behind the TV so that it looks like in the pictures. What you don't know is that the TV is also black when it is switched off. Only with power is the TV a "picture". During the day you almost don't see it +++; at dusk unfortunately you do - - -.
Hmmm SAMSUNG has specifications between 40.6 W (energy saving mode) and 0.5 W (stand-by). I suspect that the power consumption is 40W when the picture is displayed and changes to 0.5W when no movement is detected in the room and the screen goes black.
