Product details

The Store n Go external hard drive is USB 3.0 bus-powered, and backward compatible to USB 2.0 ports on PCs or notebooks. Power to operate this external hard drive is supplied directly from the USB port and is ready to use out of the box.

Store 'n' Go external hard drives feature FAT32 formatting, so they can be used on Windows and Mac operating systems. Reformatting to NTFS for storing large files (on the PC) is of course also possible.

For added security of your PC or laptop, the included "Nero BackItUp Essentials" software helps you back up your files. With "BackItUp Essentials" you can back up all your files, folders, and drives at any time or set up automatic backups at a specific time for added security.

"Nero BackItUp Essentials software is compatible with Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 8 (not compatible with Mac OS).

Also included with Verbatim's Store 'n' Go external hard drive is Green Button power saving software. This software allows you to turn off the external hard drive completely when not in use. This increases efficiency and saves energy.
