The Makita DGA 506 brushless cordless angle grinder is a very handy, 18 volt, Li-Ion battery-powered angle grinder for cutting discs up to 125 mm in diameter. The automatic speed control automatically regulates high speeds for cutting work or high torque for grinding work, depending on requirements. The brushless motor from Makita's Brushless Technology ensures greater endurance, a longer service life, and a more compact housing. The motor is also protected by overload protection, and the DGA 506 has a juice start. The electronic current limiter with warning light enables constant use while the motor load is controlled. The integrated start interlock prevents the motor from starting when the battery is inserted and switches on when the capacity is undercut. The eXtreme Protection Technology protects the machine's important components from dust and splash water. The motor housing is also equipped with an inlaid non-slip rubber pad.
