The brushless motor of Makita's Brushless Technology ensures greater endurance, longer lifespan, and a more compact housing. The motor is also protected by an overload protection system, and the DGA 506 features a soft start. The electronic current limiter with warning light allows for consistent operation while monitoring motor load. The integrated start lock prevents the motor from starting when the battery is inserted and activates when the capacity is low. The eXtreme Protection Technology protects the important components of the machine from dust and splash water. Additionally, the motor housing is equipped with a non-slip rubber pad.
