The new Li-HD technology makes batteries powerful and compact: densely packed cells result in less weight and slimmer batteries while maintaining the same performance. As part of the Cordless Alliance System (CAS), the 4.0 Ah 18 V battery can be used with more than 110 machines from various manufacturers: CAS connects nine tool manufacturers that utilize the same battery technology. The battery has a long lifespan due to optimal protection against dirt. Its rubberized exterior also makes it very robust. The capacity indicator allows for continuous monitoring of the charge level. It can be stored for long periods as it has almost no self-discharge.
