Victron Orion-Tr Smart DC/DC Charger Booster

The Orion-Tr Smart DC/DC Charger Booster is the smart solution for charging your electric vehicle. The charger from Victron Energy can be used as a charger or as a power supply and is particularly suitable for lithium batteries. It is compatible with Bluetooth Smart and fully programmable. Depending on individual needs, the battery charging algorithm can be freely configured, or it can operate with a fixed output voltage. Thanks to intelligent alternators in Euro 5 and Euro 6 engines, engine run detection is possible, ensuring that the power supply is active only when the engine is running. This prevents unwanted discharge of the starter battery.

The Orion-Tr Smart Charger Booster is equipped with modern Bluetooth technology, allowing for easy monitoring of the charger via a smartphone's Bluetooth. Software updates and changes to settings can also be conveniently controlled from the phone.

Remote On/Off Control

The charger can be remotely turned on and off using a switch or a relay contact at the two-pole connector. Alternatively, connection H (right) of the connector can be switched to a B positive terminal or connection L (left) to the negative terminal.

Constant Current, Constant Voltage, Maintenance

Since the device is primarily designed for lithium batteries, the preset absorption time of two hours can be used. For lead batteries, however, it is important to keep the absorption time short to prevent overcharging. To ensure that the battery is fully charged even after deep discharge, the constant voltage duration is automatically extended.
