Question about Steffen Digital timer
Does anyone know if the time has to be set before using the countdown function? The background to this question is that I would only use the clock now and then to supply a device with power for a certain time (e.g. 5 hours). After that, the clock goes back into the drawer for a few days. Thank you in advance!

No, the time does not have to be set. The countdown also works like this. However, after plugging it in, the small reset button next to the display must first be pressed for the timer to work. You need something sharp to do this, you can't do it with just your finger...
