These electro-permanent magnets hold when activated and release when deactivated. Typical applications include machine mechanisms, door and safety locks, as well as remote holding and releasing mechanisms. Optimal performance is achieved in conjunction with holding plates (sold separately). A version that releases upon activation is also available. The 12V DC and 24V DC versions have a 2-pole connection and comply with protection class IP20. The 240V AC versions feature a connection according to DIN 43650 and comply with protection class IP54.
