Intel Core i7 7700K

Without further problems :)
Hello Yes, that is absolutely no problem. The Intel i7 7700K has an LGA 1151, the mainboard also has the 1151 socket platform. The WaKü is also suitable for an 1151 socket, as can be seen in the specifications. The designation <incl. AM4> merely means that the WaKü is also compatible with the latest AMD socket.
It is possible from Bios version 3016. If you do not already exist you have to make a Bios update. https://www.asus.com/ch-de/Motherboards/Z170-PRO-GAMING/HelpDesk_CPU/
I'll give you my used one for the unbeatable price of 800.- lol
No, because the i7-7700k(LGA 1151) needs a different socket than the i7-4790(LGA 1150).
Depends if youre playing in 1080p,but it will for sure be a bottleneck. Even a 9700k is already close at bottlenecking such a powerful GPU.
It's probably no longer in production. On Ricardo you can often find them for around 300 and sometimes you also get a motherboard.
Unfortunately, we do not know if and when the item will be available again. However, should we receive the processor again, we will note this on the homepage next to the product.
Hello Jimmzon. You can look here. http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-7800X-vs-Intel-Core-i7-7700K/m304816vs3647 I hope I could help you with this information. Have a nice day!
Here you can find a comparison of both CPUs: http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-7700K-vs-Intel-Core-i5-6600K/3647vs3503 https://ark.intel.com/compare/97129,88191 On the data sheet, the two differ mainly in the following points: - Number of Cores (i7-7700K vs. i5-6600K) 4 vs. 4 - Number of threads (i7-7700K vs. i5-6600K) 8 vs. 4 - Processor Base Frequency (i7-7700K vs. i5-6600K) 4.20 GHz vs. 3.50 GHz - Max Turbo Frequency (i7-7700K vs. i5-6600K) 4.50 GHz vs. 3.90 GHz - Cache ["SmartCache"] (i7-7700K vs. i5-6600K) 8 MB vs. 6 MB - Intel Optane support (i7-7700K vs. i5-6600K) Yes vs. No - Intel® Hyper-Threading Technology (i7-7700K vs. i5-6600K) Yes vs. No I hope I could help you! : )
The question has already been answered a few times above, the Arctic Freezer 13 seems to be quite suitable. I use the be quiet! Pure Rock Slim and have had good experiences with it.
dies ist nicht möglich da dein board den sockel 1155 hat... https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8P67/specifications/
be quiet! Pure Rock (15.50cm) If your case is big enough. One of the best coolers. I use it personally and am very satisfied. NZXT Kraken X52 incl. AM4 If you want to bring a bit more RGB into your PC and the budget is not a problem, this is also a highly recommended cooler. But I would buy a cooling paste for both.
I don't think you can replace it at all. Also, it won't fit because this is a desktop CPU and the Alienware 17 R3 uses a mobile CPU.
Yes, this is possible as long as at least BIOS version 3007 is installed on the mainboard.
No. The Z370 motherboards are only compatible with 8th generation Intel processors. The following motherboard would be the counterpart to this one, but for this processor: ASUS STRIX Z270H GAMING (LGA 1151, Intel Z270, ATX)
Build or just assemble?
1. yes the CPU cooler is enough 2. yes (take a look at these tests https://www.computerbase.de/2017-02/kaby-lake-core-i7-i5-i3-pentium-celeron-test/ ) 3. best would be the i7 8700 (test here: https://www.computerbase.de/2017-11/intel-core-i7-8700-i5-8600k-test-auto-oc-ddr4/) but unfortunately Digitec doesn't have it in stock.
Ciao Unknown ;-) Under the reviews of the Arctic Freezer 13 you will find some helpful answers and tips that might help you. It always depends on whether you want to overclock the CPU or simply run it at the normal clock speed. The application area also plays a role (office, gaming, image editing). For office applications, surfing, etc., the Arctic Freezer 13 will certainly suffice. Here is an alternative (8-UNG, very high --> check compatibility with your case): be quiet! Dark Rock 3 (16cm) A slightly more expensive but in my eyes also very good solution is an all-in-one water cooling system for your CPU. The cooling is fantastic and even under load the temperatures stay low. However, I would only recommend water cooling if you play games or edit and render photos/videos. All-in-one water cooling: NZXT Kraken x62 incl. AM4 I hope I could help you. Greez whitelemur
Depends on what you want to do with it and whether your mainboard needs to look good? ASUS STRIX Z270F GAMING (LGA 1151, Intel Z270, ATX) ASUS ROG STRIX Z270E GAMING (LGA 1151, Intel Z270, ATX) MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon (LGA 1151, Intel Z270, ATX) If it's for gaming, I'd recommend a motherboard with a Z chipset.
Why not just get an 8700k? 360.- for a CPU and 190.- for a z270 mainboard, making a total of 550.- for components that are already virtually obsolete.
Yes, the Cooler Master Nepton 240M is good for the Intel Core i7 7700K as well!🙂 http://www.tweakpc.de/hardware/tests/wasserkuehlung/cooler_master_nepton_240m/s03.php
