What about the following display problem: https://youtu.be/ZnPrGXG_30o Does the problem still exist?
We use 2 of them for business, mainly for GIS applications. Such effects have never occurred. Perhaps the YouTube video was due to a too weak graphics card. We work with Fujitsu workstations with the original graphics card Intel HD Graphics P3000 under Windows 7 Professionel 64 Bit. We first had to get used to the huge 3840x2160px screen. Have fun!
The display is slightly anti-reflective and can reflect things in the room depending on the light/viewing angle. This is more likely when you look at the display from the side when it is switched off. Attached is a video where you can see this very well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8C4vi2grbXw
We have a latest generation MacBook and a monitor like this. We have also had problems and contact with Philips and Apple. 1. you have to switch the monitor to DisplayPort 1.2. 2. Thunderbolt cables do not work. This one worked for us: Value DP M - Mini DP M 5 m (5m, Entry, Black)
Hello Kevin That is not a problem. I hung this monitor on the wall and added a backlight. Greetings from Chur, Ron ;)
As far as I know, Philips has a zero defect tolerance with defect class ISO 13406-2 Class I for pixel defects. Please contact Digitec's customer service and possibly Philips' customer service for reassurance.

The Philips logo at the front of the screen acts as a touch-sensitive power button.
Hardly, since a remote control is not included, it has no receiver part either.
Because it is a mistake on Digitec's part. This screen has a VA panel, hence the sensational contrast values. I wouldn't exactly say "true to colour", even if the screen does have usable colour values when calibrated.
...unfortunately, the screen does not have hdmi 2.0... Therefore unfortunately no...
Hello Cortenr, unfortunately not as it is an 8-bit panel, but at least a 10-bit is required.
have you tried all the different scaling options? the % rates helped me quite quickly... is everything blurred? or only in the browser or somewhere else? did you accidentally not set the resolution to the maximum? could also be a reason for blurriness. I would advise you to google...
The monitor does not have a DVI connection. And why do you want to buy a monitor that has a higher resolution than your PC can display? In addition, the specifications should be a little more precise so that you can be given an accurate answer. For example, PC model, not normal PC Dell... Or the graphics card designation/model, the exact max. resolution or possibly the monitor you are currently using. What is the reason for a change? What is the range of use? Price range? Don't forget to use "add comment" for a reply and not "reply", otherwise I won't get a notification and might miss the follow up. Thank you very much.
Reference price: 1 Manufacturer's suggested retail price 2 Competitor's price 3 Former digitec sales price 4 Unit prices of the products in the set
Thanks for the info. You can find more information on resolutions in the user manual (page 24): https://www.download.p4c.philips.com/files/b/bdm4065uc_00/bdm4065uc_00_dfu_deu.pdf
Various cables are included, including DP1.2.
Yes, they are included. HDMI and DP cables were in the box with me. Even DVI was in it, although it should not be used.
it's a 4k tv but the output of the xbox one, ps4 is "only" 1080p so you won't be able to use the full resolution. I would rather get a 1080p tv. for the same price you get a huge screen with top picture. but if you want to use the tv in the future for netflix and co. that support 4k, it's certainly not a bad buy.
No, unfortunately Miracast is not supported.
No idea where the description at the top comes from. Under Information and on the Phillips homepage it also says VA panel. http://www.philips.ch/c-p/BDM4065UC_00/brilliance-lcd-monitor-mit-led-hintergrundbeleuchtung/ubersicht
If you already have the Quadro K600, the 4k resolution with 60hz via DisplayPort should already be possible. Otherwise, the newer Quadro K620 should meet the requirements (approx. 180.-). In addition, it is essential to use a DisplayPort cable version 1.2 to achieve 60hz.
The following wall brackets would be compatible with this monitor: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/producttype/monitor-halterung-1986?f=143374-143464&tagIds=77-624
No, it's not. There are just a few monitors out there which are HDCP 2.2 ready right now, for example the Dell UltraSharp UP3216Q.
We are happy to recommend the models under the following link: https://www.digitec.ch/de/Comparison/5340018-5342257 These are the slimmest mounts for this screen. Alternatively, we would also have the following, swivelling items to offer: https://www.digitec.ch/de/Comparison/3456457-3839851 However, these are slightly wider.
I forgot to mention: PC has no Displayport connection. Only 1 HDMI and 2 DVI on the AMD HD 6900.
