Product details
Raw Sienna is a bright brown pigment. It is one of the oldest pigments and can be found in prehistoric cave art. The name comes from Siena, Italy, where the pigment was extracted during the Renaissance.
Our professional watercolor paint continues to be formulated based on our founding principles: to create unparalleled colors that provide artists with the widest and most balanced selection of pigments, just as it was in 1835 when William Winsor and Henry Newton introduced the world's first moist watercolors.
Our product line uses only the finest pigments, which is why it is known for its brilliance, permanence, and color intensity. With 79 single-pigment colors, we offer the largest selection of modern and traditional pigments.
Formulated using the highest quality methods to achieve optimal pigment distribution, our unmatched transparency ensures that every wash remains vibrant and luminous.
104 out of 108 colors in the professional watercolor range are rated AA or A for permanence, ensuring that the colors used today will appear the same for generations to come.
Many artists appreciate granulation for creating texture on paper. Explore some of our beautiful granulating colors to enhance your palette, and learn more about how to minimize and maximize this effect.
Our professional watercolor range offers more than 30 granulating single-pigment colors that are lightfast and permanent. Try some of these colors; tone and mix them to create extraordinary super-granulated colors.
